He is a native of Trenton, NJ, and a vocation from Saint Mary of the Assumption Byzantine Catholic Church. Father Cimbala holds a B.A. in Theatre with a focus on Musical Theatre from Glassboro

Born and raised Ukrainian Greek Catholic, Br. Alex offers a unique perspective on the reality of a vibrant faith informed by both Eastern and Western Catholic traditions. Feeling a strong pull to community religious life, Br. Alex joined the Roman Catholic community of The Philadelphia Oratory, which cares for the historic St. Francis Xavier Church and School. His father and mother are Ukrainian Greek Catholic and Ruthenian Catholic, respectively. He will be ordained a priest on November 15, 2025 at the Oratory.

in Eastern Ecclesiastical Studies from the Pontifical Oriental Institute in Rome.Originally from Transcarpathia, Ukraine, he has devoted his ministry to both pastoral leadership and academic
research. Fr. Yuriy’s research and publications focus on the history of

Paul is the Director of Vocations & Diaconal Ministry for the Eparchy of Passaic and is the Administrator of two parishes: Our Lady of Perpetual Help (Levittown, PA) and Holy Trinity (Philadelphia, PA). He resides in Levittown, along with his wife Pan’i Alissa and their two children.

In 1992, while a student at Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, LA, he was received into Full Communion with the Catholic Church. In 2000, he was appointed by Bishop Andrew to serve as Assistant Editor of the Eastern Catholic Life, helping Fath

In 2014, Bishop Kurt asked him to serve as Editor of the Eastern Catholic Life, a position he continues to serve.
Ms. Brozovich is a Roman Catholic who began her journey East in her undergraduate studies at Benedictine College, in Atchison, KS. A career in classical choral music brought her to NJ for a graduate degree in choral conducting, during which she crossed paths with St. Mary Byzantine Catholic Church. Now, she serves as cantor at St. Nichola
Ms. Brozovich is a Roman Catholic who began her journey East in her undergraduate studies at Benedictine College, in Atchison, KS. A career in classical choral music brought her to NJ for a graduate degree in choral conducting, during which she crossed paths with St. Mary Byzantine Catholic Church. Now, she serves as cantor at St. Nicholas Byzantine Catholic Church and runs a community performing arts non-profit in Trenton, NJ, where she resides with her Roman Catholic music director husband and their two children.
“The Catholic Church is not only the Roman Rite – she is made up of many different traditions, all united under the guidance of the Holy Father,” he said. “Each rite has its own treasures to offer. ... Perhaps for some, this experience will awaken a holy curiosity to learn more about Eastern Catholicism and to allow its beauty to deepen their own walk with Christ.”
The September edition of Domestic Church Media's "Better Together," with hosts Jennifer Mauro and EmmaLee Italia, welcomes Alicia Brozovich, cantor, and Father Yuriy Oros, pastor of St. Mary of the Assumption Byzantine Catholic Church, Trenton, and St. Nicholas Byzantine Catholic Church, Roebling, to talk about the "Come and See Workshop" on the Byzantine Rite.

Attendees can expect to gain a deeper understanding of the rich traditions united within the Catholic Church, and to be more comfortable attending Eastern Catholic liturgies in the future.
Divine Liturgy (also known as "Mass" in Western Catholic traditions) will last approximately one hour.
Yes, confessions will be offered prior to Divine Liturgy.
